I'm in my bed, eyes wide awake
Lurking tendrils rise up from both sides
They cover my mouth and strap me down
Like cold steel they feel like death

I can't escape, I think it's just a dream
Struggling with all of my might
I try to break free, from death's grip
A man walks into the padded room

He looks at me as if he was disgusted
'Time for your pills...' he says with a joker smile
I try to resist but the tendrils of darkness are restraining me
My eyes stare through the man for a mile

Staring at the padded cell, I can see you
Whispers in my ear, you hear them too?
He walks out of the room and closes the door
The shadows shrink, and I lay in my bed eyes wide awake...
