Polymer Clay Cold

Any tips on sculpting clay? I am a beginner.?

I plan to use a cold porcelain recipe but may branch off to polymer clay.

What do you want to make?
How big do you want to make it?

I prefer to do figurative pieces.

I started with classes. My instructors had me use high fire stoneware. They had the kilns. The clay was part of the class fees.

There are a number of people on Yahoo Answers that are experts in polymer clay

Or describe a problem you are having with your art.

There are a lot of good books and there are some classes but geography may be a problem

Sculpture is a fun way to play.
