I'm going to bake some cookies today and the recipe calls for butter. Can I replace the butter with Crisco butter flavored shortening to make it moist and chewy as I've heard, or should I stick to the butter?

This is the recipe:
RECIPE INGREDIENTS:
2/3 cup butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
3 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 cups chocolate chips
1 cup coconut, nuts or M&M's (optional)
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

2. Soften butter in mixer bowl. Add in both sugars, eggs and vanilla. Stir until blended.

3. Add flour and baking soda to mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and/or other ingredients such as coconut, nuts or M&Ms.

4. Spoon by rounded tablespoons onto greased cookie sheets. Bake for 9 minutes.
