I am trying to transition from an "eat whatever I'm the mood for, whenever I feel like it" totally random diet to a more balanced diet with correct amounts of proteins, carbs, fats, etc.

I bought a pocket digital scale which I intend to carry with me everywhere.

I'm a bit annoyed that every recipe and meal plan out there are expressed in weird vague measures like spoons, cups, servings, dashes, etc.

Is there a good book or website which presents everything in units of mass i.e. grams or ounces?

Of course I know how to calculate the mass based on information on the package, but that's besides the point. I don't want to keep running back to the computer to calculate things every time I'm going to cook or eat something.
