Baking Papers Cups

Can i use paper baking cups directly in the oven to make muffins?

my question is can i use these cups over a baking tray and directly bake? will they not burn?
if they can't stand the oven alone then how do i use them?

The paper baking cups are for use in muffin tins where they fit into a space and have side support. They do not burn when filled and used properly. They cannot be used over or standing alone on a cookie sheet. They are not strong enough when filled with batter, to bake directly on a tray. The muffin pans that are made out of silicone do not necessarily need paper muffin cup liners. What I want to say is that one needs a muffin pan to make muffins or cupcakes. The paper liners just make it easier for clean-up after wards.
You can mix your muffin batter, pour it into a cake pan, and slice into square pieces when finished. I know it's not the same as an individual muffin, but the taste is the same, and when eaten follows in the same path.
